Here is another serial killer and rapist that the Lord has saved. This is ten murderers that have been saved after hearing our program within the last two or three years. This one experience is worth all of the money we have spent and trouble of any kind us and the brethren in Liberia have gone through. Please continue to pray.

What joy to praise my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for what His doing in my life through listening to 88.5 fm missionary voice of africa. I remember 14 years ago i fought the Liberian civil  as a child soldier  at the tender age of 12 years, was given  arms by charles talyor h president of LIberia. I KILLED lots of people even rape women but i thank God for your radio program, it was Friday, October 15 about 6pm, while listening to missionary baptist voice of africa, a voice echoing there is hope and peace in Jesus only He alone can saved, that day i will never forget, tearing like rain begun to pour down my cheek, i could not control it, there i ask Jesus to come into my life and saved me. later it was annouce on the radio that there were cds for free for those who need them, i when at the radio station in Paynesville and they gave me two cds and  invited me to the town point missionary baptist church which i am now attending regularly. that guilt and all bad feeling have gone away from my life. i still need your prayer pastor don curtis, that is why i told the station to listen to my testismonies. i now have joy, praise Jesus. I’m now a 26 years old man, i am a farmer and have three children and married and my whole family now listen to your program and our whole household is saved

Since the new station has been purchased, we have received about thirty similar experiences like the ones below. Also, some of the experiences included a murderer and a few prostitutes.

My thanks goes out to you for bringing such a radio station that proclaim the truth. Although I have been going to a Pentecostal church, I was lost.  It was through the Missionary Voice Of Africa on the twenty-fifth of August, 2010  I had been a miserable sinner and blinded for so many years though I was a member of a Pentecostal church, i realized I was not saved  they used to tell me once i spoke in tongue i was saved, it was through the radio station broadcast. That heavy burden was always in my heart until at 11am Wednesday, August 25,2010, I knee down and tearing begun to drop from my eyes I that I could not saved myself, as i listen to the preacher Mr. Don Curtis,  I felt a great joy and peace and know for sure that i am saved. Dear 88.5 FM,
I am a 45 years old man, I lived not too far from the Missionary Voice of Africa radio station. I remember as a child my parents took me to church, it was a Catholic church which I have been a member of until Monday, September 6th, 2010 at 2pm, I tuned my radio to 88.5 FM, and heard Mr. Paul Bryson preaching he put forth the question listener are you saved or deceived, that only Jesus can saved, i saw that my state and conditioned before God if I died that day, I will go to hell, another voice begun to tell me how can you be sure that what he is preaching is true while, i have been listening to people calling from all over Liberia and through the Holy Spirit I repented of my sins and it was like something left my body and i felt peace and in my heart and mind. I when to the radio station and was issue five cds of one of the presenters Mr. Paul Bryson and they encouraged me.

I backslided three years ago, I have been listening to the Missionary Voice of Africa on 88.5fm, it was during Sunday evening broadcast with Paul Bryson, the Lord chastened me while listening to wells of salvation, like the prodigal son, i repented of my sins and confessed Jesus to save me, I fell to the floor with tearing raining down my cheek, crying oh God saved me, like the prodigal son, i am heading home. please allow me to present this testismony to Mr. Don Curtis, i am using your radio station medium, i do not have internet. please have it send to him. It was this gone Thursday, September 30, 2010 around 6pm, I tune my radio to 88.5 and heard this man preaching, come to christ, give your life to Jesus now and be saved, i had been a former rebel leader during the civil war in my country. i killed, rape, burnt houses. what does this man mean, by there is no sin too big that God cannot forgive, so i wanted to be saved, all of a sudden, they invited me to the radio station and pray for me to be saved, today i attended the townpoint church and when before the alter and cry through the service until there was no more tears then i raised up felt relieve and great joy enter my heart. tomorrow all those who relatives i killed, rape, i am going to their houses to ask their forgiveness. mr. I just wanted to thank each one that had any part at all in our buying the radio station in Liberia. That includes just one prayer.

I received mail today from the station about some people being saved. They said it was from hearing our station there that they got under conviction and got saved.

One man said he raped and killed women during their civil war. That makes seven men in the last two years that were murderers before they heard our messages on the radio or by CD and got saved.
Just during this short time that we have been on this new station; the Lord has smiled on the work of our Old Time Baptists. So just keep the sermons and lessons, experiences, etc. coming. I’m so happy that everyone now knows it is not just a few of us that is doing the radio work, but it is the combined effort of all of our preachers and churches  from Old Time Baptist  that is now doing the work. Please don’t quit praying for many more to be saved.

Through your desire to help; we have received enough donations to pay the down payment of $5,000 for the new station in Liberia. We have received some toward the other $5,000 to finish paying for it. We want to thank everyone that has or will donate to the purchase of this station. If we did get any extra; we will put some toward the purchase of a 2,000 Watt transmitter. This will broadcast to several nations around Liberia. It will cost about $5,000.

August 16, 2010 is a historic day for Old Time Baptists. Our programs started on the new station TODAY. As far as I know; this is the first radio station to be bought by our people.

I want everyone to be sure they understand this. This station does not belong to me or Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. THIS STATION BELONGS TO ALL OF OUR OLD TIME BAPTISTS. AT THE PRESENT; IT IS BEING DONE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF UNION HILL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH AT HOMER, GA. BUT IT MAY NEED TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER CHURCH AT SOME POINT.

THIS STATION WAS BOUGHT WITH ALL OF OUR CHURCHES IN MIND. ALL OF OUR CHURCHES CAN COME TOGETHER ON COMMON GROUND, WITHOUT WORRYING WHICH CHURCH FELLOWSHIPS ANOTHER. WE PREACH ON THE RADIO STATIONS HERE THAT HAVE EVERYTHING FROM PENTECOSTAL TO CATHOLIC PREACHING FROM THE SAME STATION. THAT WILL NOT BE THE CASE WITH THIS STATION; IT WILL BROADCAST ONLY OLD TIME BAPTISTS FOR 12 HOURS PER DAY. THIS WILL GIVE ANY CHURCH OR PREACHER, TEACHER and SINGERS, or those who would like to tell potentially 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE THEIR EXPERIENCE OF SALVATION IN MONROVIA, AND HOPEFULLY, WILL SOON BE REACHING FIVE TO EIGHT MILLION WITH THE STRONGER TRANSMITTER.

You or your church does not have to help pay the expenses to be on the station. With four employees’ it will cost about $500 per month. Each employee will receive $25.00 per month, which makes $100. The other four hundred will go for petro for the Generators.

We want you to be sound and to have a burden for lost souls. I have been praying from day one that there would be a way that all of our Old Time Baptists could be a part of the Mission work beside just money and prayers. These are essential, but if all of our churches can feel they have an opportunity to step up before the world and preach or teach whatever the Lord lays on your heart; surely we can all do that without any discord. I’m sure you would.

Remember; whatever we send to Liberia to be broadcast on the radio station the Lord has given us, will be passed on to the next generation until the Lord comes back. I’m just sure that if He came back and found all of us trying to get his gospel to lost sinners; he would be SO pleased.

I won’t have time to go through all of the material you send, but I don’t need to since you will be just fine. I have confidence in all of our churches to preach the truth on salvation so I don’t need to worry about that. Also, feel free to preach on the church, the ordnances, or whatever the Lord lays on your heart.

Dear Preacher,
I often wonder if one can forgive ones enemy. That was my case and I knew that it was my old self speaking. because I was not saved, not to talk about being under conviction.I went about with bitterness in my heart and the only way of salvation was love and I didn’t have it. and a scripture kept appearing in my heart(Matt:28:48-49).  I didn’t love God because I didn’t show love to my eneminies and I was lost. I listen to a radio program which was yours on BCA and I discovered I was unviel, my true state of mind your message confirmed the scripture. My God! how I wept not for joy, but of guilt and I couldn’t stop immediately. for days I was in that condition then one night I felt the burden which seem a heavy load to me was roll away of me. I felt peace settle on my spirit then I know I was saved. Your next programe I took down the address and wrote. I am saved.

I want to congratulate your on the continous success of your radio program. I am staying in the North where we have B.R.C. I got saved when I listened to “Baptism In Relation To His Death” and since then the burden left I know I have been discharge and acquitted by God and his spirit strengthen me to overcome temptation and culvate godly qualities. fortify me to endure trials.
